Johannes Schubert (Germany) - graduatedfrom the Volgograd Medical Institute in 1969 with honors. He is an outstanding scientist, a specialist in the field of implantology, maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, heads the dental center of the University of Martin-Luther (Halle-Wittenberg). And for many years the professor not only did not lose touch with his native university, but also gave development to cooperation between foreign and Russian scientists. The main directions in  studies are devoted to congenital defects of the dentition, maternaltrauma during pregnancy, improper laying and development of organs and systems in the fetus, as well as the treatment of maxillofacial anomalies.  On October 15, 2014, the ceremony of awarding Johannes Schubert the title of Honorary Professor of VolgSMU was held in the assembly


Theo Seng Lee (Malaysia) - Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Penang, Honorary Foreign Doctor of VolgSMU, General Director of the private company "Russian Resources". He promotes the relationship of VolgSMU with Malaysian universities and students who come from there to study. In 2012, Mr. Theo Seng Lee at the ceremony of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the training of foreign students at VolgSMU was awarded the medal "For Merit to the University". In 2014,  was awarded the "Order of Friendship of the Russian Federation".


Jiřand Mashtalka (Czech Republic) - Graduated from the Volgograd State Medical Institute in 1980 and the Kiev Medical Institute in 1982. He worked in the cardiology department of the clinic of internal diseases of the Plzeň Faculty Hospital. Participated in many professionalresearch in the field of non-invasive cardiology, including echocardiology. Since 1990, he became a doctor at the private hospital in Pilsen. At the same time he became a deputy of the People's Chamber of the Federal Federal  Meetings from the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia, then a member ofthe City Council of Pilsen, a member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. With his active participation, a large number of projects were implemented that were carried out in the interests of developing friendly relations between the European Union and Russia, Russia and the Czech Republic. One of these projects was the creation of a medical partnership between volgograd State Medical University and the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic).  By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation he was awarded the "Order of Friendship of the Russian Federation". On September 17, 2015, Dr. Jiří Mashtalka was awarded the title of "Honorary Foreign Doctor of VolgSMU".


Zverev Vitaly Vasilyevich (Russia) - in 1975 he graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Volgograd State Medical Institute. Then he worked at the Research Institute of Applied Microbiology of Glavmicrobioprom and at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. In 1985 he defended his thesis. He headed the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of the Medical and Preventive Faculty of Sechenov University. Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (2002), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2013). Awarded the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation  Federation in the field of science and technology in 1997 and in 2005, as well as the medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree (February 28, 2023). By the decision of the Academic Council of VolgSMU dated February 11, 2015 , for special merits to the Volgograd State Medical University, the development of academic and socio-political programs, Professor V. V. Zverev was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of volgograd State Medical University".


Brel Anatoly Kuzmich (Russia) - in 1970 graduated from the Volgograd Polytechnic Institute, and in 2003- the Pyatigorsk Pharmaceutical Academy with a degree in Pharmacy. In 1975.  defended his thesis in chemistry. In 1993 he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, and in 1994.  – title of Professor at the Department of General and Bioorganic Chemistry. From 1981 to 1985, Anatoly Kuzmich Brel worked as a senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of General and Bioorganic Chemistry of the Volgograd Medical Institute, and from 1985 to the present time he is the head of the Department of Chemistry of VolgSMU. From 1994 to 1995.  Anatoly Kuzmich was the dean of the faculty of training foreign students. Since the opening of the Faculty of Pharmacy in 1995, he became the first dean and until 2015 supervised the training of specialists in the direction of "Pharmacy".  He is a full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He was awarded the honorary badge "For Merit to the Volgograd State Medical University" of the II degree and the medal named after A. Nobel.  In 2015, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of VolgSMU".


Andrey Georgievich Beburishvili (Russia) - after graduating from VSMI in 1970, he combined the work of a surgeon with work as an assistant of the Department of Faculty Surgery. He defended his candidate and then doctoral dissertation.  From 1988 to 1991 he headed the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of VSMI. In December 1989 he was awarded the title of Professor. Since 1991 he headed the Department of Faculty Surgery with a course of endoscologyand endoscopic surgery of the FUV and a course of cardiovascular surgery of VolgSMU. In 1993, the first Endoscopic Surgery Center in the Lower Volga region was created on the basis of the department. Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation,  Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professorr.  A.G. Beburishvili is rightfully considered the founder of endoscopic surgery in the Volgograd region. On November 8, 2017, at a meeting of the Academic Council of VolgSMU, it was announced that Andrey Georgievich Beburishvili was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of volgGMU (Decision of the Academic Council, Minutes No. 2, reg. No. 17).


Valery Fedorovich Mikhalchenko (Russia) - after graduating from the Volgograd State Medical Institute in 1972 - worked as a dentist, then as the chief physician of the Boldov district hospital of the Mordovian ASSR. Since May 1978 - as a dentist, therapist and dentist ofthe Volgograd Regional Dental Polyclinic. Since 1980 he has been accepted as an assistant of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, since 1992 he has become the head of the department, and since 2012 a professor  Department. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, his studentsdefended 1 doctoral and more than 25 candidate dissertations. In addition to working at the university, he was a deputy of the Volgograd City Council, President of the Volgograd Regional Association of Dentists, worked as the main freelance specialist instomatology. Awarded a diploma of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the medal of the Dental Association of Russia "Excellence in Dentistry" of the I degree, has the honorary title "Honored Worker of Atology".  health care." On September 11, 2019 , Valery Fedorovich Mikhalchenko was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of VolgSMU" (Decision of the Academic Council of September 11, 2019, Minutes No. 2, Reg. No. 20).


Adzhienko Vsevolod Leonidovich (Russia) - in 1993  he graduated from Volgograd Medical University with honors in the specialty "General Medicine".  He began his career as a junior researcher at the Research Institute of Pharmacology, and in 1997 he defended his Ph.D. in pharmacology.  He continued his work experience in the pharmaceuticaldepartment within the walls of the medical university.  On the basis of the university, a family medicine clinic was formed, which Vsevolod Leonidovich headed for several years.  This was followed by the creation of the Department of Economics and Management. In 2008, V.  Adzhienko defendedhis thesis in two specialties: "Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology" and "Sociology of Medicine".
In 2010, Vsevolod Leonidovich also graduated from the educational program of the MBA LINC "Management of the Organization" of the International Institute of Managementof Business  Administration (according to the program of the British Open University) with the assignment of an additional qualification of a master of business administration.  In 2012, Vsevolod Leonidovich became a director pyatigorsk Medical and Pharmaceutical Institute, which became the filiascrap of VolgSMU. In 2017, he was awarded the Gratitude of the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.


Vorobyov Alexander Aleksandrovich (Russia) - in 1981   he graduated from the Volgograd State Medical Institute, immediately began to work as an assistant at the Department of Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy of VGMI, and after defendingyour dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences, he worked in the I Surgical Department of the Volgograd Regional Clinical Hospital. The professor was awarded the badge "Excellence in Healthcare",  the sign "Honorary Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation", signsand "For merits to the Volgograd State Medical University" of the II and III degrees, three times laureate of the Volgograd Region Prize in the field of science and technology, laureate of the prize of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers.


Zyubina Elena Nikolaevna (Russia) - Chief Physician of The Clinic No. 1 of VolgSMU, Excellence in Healthcare, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Surgeon of the highest category, Elena Nikolaevna Zyubina heads the clinic No. 1 of VolgSMU since 2009.  A successful surgeon, over the past three years she has performed more than 600 operations, most of which belong to the category of high-tech.  Professor E.N.  Zyubina developed a method forvigational, interventional reconstruction of the biliary tract, which has become unique for practical health care, widely used today in surgical practice.  He isthe first prize of the  city of Volgograd "For the development and implementation of minimally invasive technologies in surgery". Honorary Professor of the Volgograd State Medical University.


Klauchek Sergey Vsevolodovich (Russia) - graduated from Volgograd State Medical Institute (Medical Faculty) in 1977.  In 1996 he became the head of the Department of Normal Physiology, in 1998 - the Deanof the Faculty of Medicine. Under his guidance and with consultative participation, more than 50 Ph.D. theses were defended.

Latyshevskaya Natalia Ivanovna (Russia) - In 1978 she graduated with honors from the Volgograd Medical Institute. In 1980 she became a laureate of the Komsomol Prize. She worked as an assistant of the department, associate professor, since 1995 - head of the Department of General Hygiene and Ecology of the Volgograd Medical University. In 2005-2014 - Deputy of the Volgograd Regional Duma,  Doctor of Medical Sciences, Academician  of the Russian Ecological Academy, Academician of the International Academy of Authors of Scientific Inventions and Discoveries, Excellence in Healthcare of the Russian Federation.   She was awarded the Medal of Peter the Great "For Labor Valor", the Order "For Professionalism and Business Reputation",  the highestfemale order of the Russian Orthodox Church - the Order of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga.  Honorary Professor of Volgograd State Medical University.


Mandrikov Viktor Borisovich (Russia) - in 1969 graduated from the Volgograd State Institute of Physical Culture with a degree in "Physical Culture and Sport", a coach in athletics.   He has the first sports category.  Since 1969 he has been  a lecturerat the Department of Physical Education of VSMI, since 1983 - Headof the Department of Physical Education of VolSMU.  In 1983.  defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Biological Sciences, in 1985.  awarded the academic title of "Associate Professor".  From 1993 to 1998.  was the deanof the Faculty of Medicine.  In 1994.  awarded the academic title "Professor", and in 1997.  awarded the title "Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the Russian Federation".  Since 1998  and to the present time - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of VolSMU.  I am an Academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Pedagogical Education.  He was awarded the Honorary Diplomas of the Regional Committee of the Komsomol, the Regional Committee of the CPSU, the Regional Executive Committee, the sign of the Central Committee of the Komsomol "For active work in student detachments".  He was awarded the badges "Excellence in Healthcare of Russia", "Excellent Worker of the Higher School", "Cavalier of the Order of Friendship".


Ozerov Alexander Aleksandrovich (Russia) - in 1980  Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Chemical Technology of the Volgograd Polytechnic Institute. From 1980 to 1983.  studied at the postgraduate school at the Department of Organic Chemistry of the same institute.  Hedefended his thesis on the specialty "organic chemistry" in 1984 and in 1989.  was transferred to the Volgograd Medical Institute, where until 1993.  worked at the Department of Chemistry as a senior lecturer and associate professor. in 1993.  transferred to the position ofDeputy Director of the Research Institute of Pharmacology at the Volgograd Medical Institute.  In 1994.  Defended his doctoral thesis in two specialties. in 2002.  became the head of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry of VolgSMU. He is the head of the laboratory ofantiviral drugs of the Research Institute of Pharmacology of VolgSMU, the laboratory of medicinal chemistry. In 2005.  He was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation "For Merits in the Field of Healthcare and Conscientious Ores", in 2009 - the Certificate of Honor of the Head of the Administration of the Volgograd Region "For the successes achieved in research and educational activities".  He was awarded the Honorary Badge of VolgSMU of the I degree in 2013.

Sedova Natalia Nikolaevna (Russia) - in 1971  graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Moscow State University named after M.V.  Lomonosov. Since 1971 he has been working at VolgSMU (Department of Marxism and Leninism). In 1976 she became  a candidateof philosophical sciences.  From 1984 to 2022, she was the head of the Department of Philosophy, Bioethics and Law with a course in sociology of medicine of VolgSMU.  In 1991 she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. In 2005.  She defended her thesis for the degree ofDoctor of Legal Sciences. Since September 2022 - Head of the Higher School of Medical Humanities of the Institute of Public Health of VolgSMU.  Professor of the Department of Philosophy, Bioethics and Law with a course of sociology of medicine of VolgSMU. Member of the Academic Council of VolgSMU.  Head of the dissertation commission. Member of the Council on Ethics of Clinical Trials of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.


 

Spasov Alexander Alekseevich (Russia) - in 1970 graduated with honors from the Medical Faculty of the Volgograd Order of the Red Banner of Labor of the Medical Institute. In 1972  entered postgraduate studies at the Department of Pharmacology of the Volgograd State Medical Institute. In 1975.  he defended his thesis, after which he continued to work in the Central Research Laboratory of VSMI.  In 1983.  became an associate professor of the Department of Pharmacology of VSMI. In 1984.  defended his doctoral dissertation. Since 1990   to date he is the head of the Department of Pharmacology and Bioinformatics of VolgSMU. 1991–2019 – Vice-Rector of VolgSMU for Educational Work with Foreign Students and International Activities.  In 2004.  became a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in the specialty "pharmacology", in 2011 - an academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, in 2013 - an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. 2019-2020 - an adviser to the rectorate of VolgSMU. 2021.  – Scientific Director of the Scientific Center for Innovative Medicines of VolgSMU.  He was awarded the honorary title of Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (1999).  Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology (2010).  He wasawarded the Certificate of Merit of the President of the Russian Federation (2013).


 

Tyurenkov Ivan Nikolaevich (Russia) - in 1969 he graduated from the Volgograd Medical Institute. In 1976 he defended his Ph.D., and in 1987 his doctoral dissertation. In 1988 he was awarded the academic title of professor.In 2011 he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2014, he became a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.  Currently, he is the head of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy of the Institute of NMFO VolgSMU.  Under his leadership, 9 doctoral and more than 40 candidate's dissertations were defended.  He was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree (2005). Lopatin Yuri Mikhailovich (Russia) - in 1980 graduated from the Tajik State Medical Institute.  After completing his clinical residency, he worked at the Republican Cardiology Center (Dushanbe). From 1983 to 1986 he studied at the postgraduate school, after which he defended his thesis, then worked as an assistant at the Department of Internal DiseasesNo. 1 of the Tajik State Medical Institute. From 1990 to 1995 he studied doctoral studies at the All-Russian Cardiology Scientific Center  (Moscow), in 1995 - defended his doctoral dissertation. From 1995 to the present time - Head of the Department of the Volgograd Regional Cardiology Center, and since 1998 - Head of the Department of Cardiology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery of the Institute of NMFO VolSMU. In 2022 - elected a member of the Department of Cardiology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery of the Institute of NMFO VolSMU. In 2022 - elected a member of the Department of Cardiology, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery -correspondent of the Russian Academy of Sciences from the Department of Physiological Sciences.  The professor was awarded the honorary title "Physician of the Russian Federation". He is a member of the Presidium of the Board of the Russian Society of Cardiology, the Society of Heart Failure Specialists of the Russian Federation, the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of CardiacLogs. In 2022, Lopatin Yu.M. was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor of VolgSMU".
